i am so busy today. i have been running around getting tons of new fall jackets, dresses, tops and accessories for the store since early this morning. my best finds... boots of every kind in all sizes. i found oxfords, western, slouchy, flat, old frye style boots and in sizes 6 through 11!! yes, 11!! can't wait to show you on wednesday. hope you are enjoying your monday. xo

fall has arrived!

fall clothes, shoes, and bags are in! i love fall clothes. i get so excited for the season to change when i make my first purchase! i just had someone say "now i can't wait for fall!" after they bought a wool houndstooth 1950's cape that i just placed on the rack. i really have some great pieces from the 50's in as well as some fun 80's wear too!

my mom and i went to lunch at the chart house today. the view was peaceful and salmon was delicious. doesn't philadelphia look beautiful?

a good day...

fall vintage shopping early this morning, lunch with kate at honey's, laid around and watched reruns of the rachel zoe project, and i finally ordered those boots i have been dreaming about.

what to wear?

summer is here, but with all the fall ads and clothes running around in my mind, i'm finding it hard to find something to wear every morning.

You finally went on summer vacation — and all you got was a bad case of sunburn and a huge hole in your wallet.

But leave it to Heather Waity from Vintage Connection to bring back the souvenirs. The eagle-eyed globetrotter just returned from Rome with a heap of vintage scores.

She got colorful cotton dresses with embroidered details and bright prints from the ’50s to the ’80s from Piazza Navona or San Giovanni (large flea markets brimming with secondhand clothing). Everything is in natural fibers (mostly cotton and linen), including a slew of little shirts with interesting button details and necklines. A few are cut short, so you can rock them with high-waisted jeans or just your own belly.

Also, be sure to check out the accessories; necklaces with intricate detail made the flight back as well.

They’re pretty as a postcard.

pyt at the piazza

friends, food, drinks, music. if you haven't been to the piazza on a sunday, you should go. the vibe was great. we ate at pyt. they have milk shakes with patron that were delicious. for dinner i had the peanut butter and jelly sandwich with bananas. after we walked around and i ran into so many people there. i definitely want to get back soon.
