shopped all day

today i spent the day in new york vintage shopping for my favorite guys and gals... you! tomorrow i will be bringing sundresses, play suits, sandals, sunglasses, and lots of bags into the store. i am so excited about this set of vintage finds! stop in this week to get first pick.

these pictures are so creepy and hilarious at the same time. does anyone know where we were from the art on the wall? why is it that every time i go, i sit in front of her? i'm not sure, but now i count on it.

puppy love

local artist, joanne hoffman, paints portraits of pooches all over the city. it began as a hobby and has taken off into a small business. my favorite are pheobe and prudence below. maybe one day i can get dugan and ruby to pose! visit hoffman studio for more details.

last nights tea party was a success. peach tea was brewed and floral frosted cupcakes were eaten. the perfect evening was created by alexis siemons owner of teaspoons & petals. alexis creates haiku teacups, sugar bowls and creamers. her creations are displayed below. we had a great turn out and so much fun. thank you to everyone that came out for the event and who helped create the most perfect tea party. to be added to our mailing list for event updates email me at hmariexo@gmail.com.
