sunday mornings are for sleeping in, big breakfasts, long walks, and your favorite past times. last sunday a couple friends and i headed to sabrinas cafe on 9th and christian for a big, comforting breakfast before coming into the store. since i opened last october shoppers have raved about the delicious food and large portions from this charming, neighborhood cafe. i often notice people waiting in line to get a table inside for their favorite morning meal. i finally stepped in to find out what all the talk is about.

i ordered the challah french toast stuffed with fresh bananas covered in vanilla maple syrup. i have never seen french toast done quite like this. i recommend trying their yummy and wonderfully comforting version of french toast.

leigh ordered a vegetable omelet and side of french toast. the portions were huge and had us asking for a doggy bag. yum!
