my five dollar t-shirti saw a shirt like this for $80. and i really, really wanted it. just as i was about to order i had a thought... i wonder if i could make this? so i did and here's how.

i bought a 2 pack of men's hanes v neck t's in a small for $9.99.

to make the shape of the shirt more girlie i cut the sleeves shorter, cut the hem at the bottom and cut the collar out to make a deeper v.

i dotted the pattern into the shirt with a q tip and bleach.

i was sure to overlap the pattern and add more bleach to certain areas changing some of the color.

i let the shirt dry and washed it. the best thing about it... it is so comfortable. i love it.
