london style

london is booming with style. the first few are some shots of the models we used on our shoot. i loved dewi driegen and her boots!

here are some photos of cool girls in london with their heads shaved on one side... a growing trend.

here are some shots of spitalfields and brick lane style. this was my most favorite day. everything around you is so inspiring. i loved to people watch, because the fashion was fun and beautifully done.

free people shoot: yummy foods we ate

we arrived at our hotel, the chilston park, for high tea. i fell in love with the egg salad tea sandwiches and scones smothered in clotted cream and strawberry preserves.



here is a photo of my hotel room which used to be a barn. it overlooked the courtyard... so beautiful!


on set the food was amazing! it was like getting a home cooked meal everyday! i loved the table settings.







we took a break from shooting one night for fish and chips at the pepper box inn.


our first night in london we headed to a middle eastern restaurant for a smorgasbord of food. we ordered so much our dishes sat on our laps!


after we took a ride through london on a bike driven cart. we rode through piccadilly circus and buckingham palace.



the next day was filled with shopping and high tea at liberty of london.




breakfast at spitalfields, my favorite day of all!

free people photo shoot: behind the scenes

we just arrived back in the U.S. and i couldn't wait to go through the photos from our september catalog shoot. here are a few behind the scenes photos. i wish i could show you more, but i would spoil the catalog for you.






the last photo is of some of the free people girls with the local production staff, allison, who took such good care of us. it was our last night of shooting and we were exhausted!!

helping style this shoot was an amazing experience! i describe it as a vintage connection photo shoot times ten! more photos to come...

wedding bells were ringing

we celebrated a friend's wedding yesterday. the day was beautiful and a lot of fun! i fell in love with the bride's delicate lace dress and headpiece.
