you are so lucky, great buys.....
do you share your favorite thrifting spots in Philly? I'm looking for a fun place to go since it (fingers crossed) looks like we might have good weather from here on out!?
anonymous, thank you!
bekah, honestly it's hit or miss anywhere you go. you have to be willing to search through every piece, but if you give it time you may find 1 out of 100 that is special. i go to goodwills and salvation armys. there is a good s.a. in manayunk. i go to the same one once a week for fear i may miss something. sometimes i leave with nothing, sometimes i leave with one great piece, and sometimes i find a few things. let me know how you like thrifting in philadelphia! i also go to sazz vintage too when i have something specific in mind. it's in olde city. try there too!
x,
I found an amaaazing Gunne Sax dress in Dublin, Ireland about 8 years ago for 25 euros. I love it so much, it's so '70s and adorable. Last time I got it cleaned, though, they managed to chemically damage part of the fabric, leaving an orange stain right at the front waist :( I need to figure out a way to rescue it!
