this is georgia from the blog dora's fur. i love her easy going summer style. she told me her shorts were once a skirt she altered herself. her top is knotted for an effortless cropped look. very cute.

tati, from sticky note, purchased this 1970's flowing chiffon frock from vintage connection a few weeks ago. she posted some amazing photos of herself wearing this beauty in her flowering garden. she makes this dress look even more beautiful and i had no idea that was possible.

"Dear Heather,

My name is Heidi Saman. I've been to your store several times and love everything about it. I'm not sure if you remember me, but I was (still am :) a filmmaker who's thesis film (it's called THE MAID) from Temple University was premiering at the Cannes Film Festival last year. I was invited to the festival and wore one of the dresses that I purchased from you-- a silk turquoise button down dress with a cool pink and aquamarine belt. I actually shortened the dress so I could wear it for evening and it really was a hit! I attended a dinner with Natalie Portman and I saw her checking out the dress! And I love her style!

I've been able to attend some amazing film festivals around the world and the dress I purchased at Vintage Connection has been with me to all of them.

today there was another vintage connection dress walking the streets of philadelphia! i love this blue floral number! check out the front of the dress. it has silver, double breasted buttons with cross stitching detail.

i get so excited when i see people around this big city wearing something from vintage connection! this dress was purchased here about a year ago... cotton black top with a toggle button pocket and canvas bottom. so classic!
